Who we are

BIS Ahmedabad Branch office-I (AHBO-I) is one of the Branch offices of Bureau of Indian Standards, the National Standards Body of India. It comes under the jurisdiction of the Western Regional Office of BIS Ahemdabad Branch Office was established on 1971 to serve all over Gujarat. Later with the formation of Rajkot Branch office and subsequently reorganisation of Ahmedabad branch to 3 branches, AHBO-I is Catering the need of industries in 4 Districts of the State of Gujarat namely Ahmedabad, Sabarkantha, Patan and Mahisagar.
