Who we are

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is India's National Standards Body, founded in 2016 under the BIS Act. It is working on developing Indian Standards for products, processes, and services, as well as monitoring their implementation through Certification and periodic Factory and Market surveillance to assure long-term compliance and excellence. Himachal Pradesh Branch Office (HPBO), provides services of Bureau of Indian Standards to the industries of the 12 Districts of Himachal Pradesh and serves as effective link between State Governments, Industries, Technical institutions, Consumer organization etc.

Grievance Redressal
