Who we are

BIS Ahmedabad Branch office-II (AHBO-II) is one of the Branch offices of Bureau of Indian Standards, the National Standards Body of India. It comes under the jurisdiction of the Western Regional Office of BIS.

Ahmedabad Branch Office was established in 1971 to serve all over Gujarat. Later with the formation of Rajkot Branch office and subsequently reorganisation of Ahmedabad branch to 3 branches AHBO-I, AHBO-II and SUBO, AHBO-II is addressing the conformity assessment requirements of industries in 10 Districts of the State of Gujarat namely Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Aravalli, Dahod, Banaskantha, Vadodara and Narmada.
