Who we are

Bureau of Indian Standards, Bhubaneswar Branch Office is looking after Product Certification Scheme and Hallmarking Scheme in the state of Odisha. Our jurisdiction is over all thirty districts of Odisha. Mostly steel licences are operating in the state.
After establishment of sufficient number of Assaying & Hallmarking Centres in Odisha and compulsory hallmarking, number of hallmarking registrations are growing exponentially.
The Branch Office is located centrally in Bhubaneswar.
