Hubli Branch Office (HUBO), Bureau of India Standards offers certification services to the industry of the 17 Districts of Karnataka & State of Goa and serves as effective link between State Governments, Industries, Technical institutions, Consumer organization etc.

Hubli Branch office (HUBO) has been inaugurated on 28th Jan, 2019 by the then Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution in august presence of the then Hon’ble MP Shri Pralhad Joshi (Presently Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal & Mine). Hubli Branch Office (HUBO) operates Product Certification scheme as laid down in BIS (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018 and BIS Hallmarking Scheme.
