Bureau of Indian Standards, Hyderabad Branch Office (HYBO) has juristriction over 31 districts of Telengana

HYBO is the custodian of more than 980 Product Certification Licences and more than 1880 Hallmarking Licences. With more and more products being brought under the ambit of Compulsory Certification by the Central Government and with the development of quality consciousness amongst the consumers, new certification licences are added each month for different products under HYBO.
