MoU with Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), is pleased to announce it’s partnership with prestigious IIT Kanpur in setting standards It will help in concurrently establishing standards on important subjects like Block chain applications of e -governance developed by IIT.
The MoU was signed at IIT Kanpur by Dr. Abhay karandikar Director, IIT Kanpur and Smt. Surina Rajan, Director General, BIS.
BIS and IIT Kanpur have agreed for the setting up a centre of excellence in the field of standardization, testing & conformity assessment with the BIS branding at IIT Kanpur campus.
A great step forward for Indian Standards’ journey, not only in the country but also globally.
