It is doing work pertaining to the formulation of Indian Standards for products, processes and services, and monitoring the implementation of the standards through Certification and periodic Factory and Market surveillance to ensure sustained compliance and excellence. शिकायत निवारण

बीआईएस एक सुस्थापित शिकायत निवारण प्रक्रिया का अनुसरण करता है। शिकायत प्रबंधन और प्रवर्तन विभाग (सीएमईडी) में केंद्रीय रूप से शिकायतें दर्ज की जाती हैं। ऑफलाइन और ऑनलाइन दोनों माध्यमों से शिकायतें की जा सकती हैं। ऑनलाइन शिकायत मोबाइल ऐप ‘बीआईएस केयर’ के माध्यम से या ‘उपभोक्ता कार्यक्रम पोर्टल’ के माध्यम से की जा सकती है। शिकायत मिलने पर इसकी जांच की जाती है और इसके निवारण के लिए आगे की कार्रवाई की जाती है।ऑनलाइन शिकायत पोर्टल के माध्यम से शिकायत दर्ज करने के लिए क्लिक करें।.
